API Quick Start Guide
Create, list, inspect and delete links from your own code with the Short10 REST API.
1. Create an API key
- Go to Dashboard → Integrations → API keys.
- Click Create key, give it a name (e.g. “website backend”) and copy the key.
- Store it securely. You can revoke a key from the same page at any time.
2. Authenticate
Send the key as a Bearer token on every request:
Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY Content-Type: application/json

Example: create a link

Rate limits
Each key may make 60 requests per minute. Requests above that return HTTP 429; back off and retry after a short pause. For large one-off imports of up to 500 links, the CSV import is quicker.
API access requires the Pro plan or higher. Links created through the API appear in your dashboard like any other and can be edited there.
