Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Short10 ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

Short10 is a product of DOTZ AGENCY LLC ("Company", "we", "us"). The Company provides a URL shortening, link management, and analytics platform ("Service"). Features include link creation, click tracking, custom domains, A/B testing, retargeting pixels, deep linking, CTA overlays, API access, team workspaces, and bot filtering. Features vary by subscription plan.

3. Account Registration

You must sign in using Google OAuth to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to: (a) shorten links to malware, phishing, or illegal content; (b) distribute spam or unsolicited messages; (c) violate any applicable law or regulation; (d) infringe on intellectual property rights; (e) transmit viruses or harmful code; (f) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service; (g) use the Service for any fraudulent purpose; (h) create links that redirect to adult content without proper labeling. We reserve the right to disable any link or account that violates these terms without notice.

5. Subscription Plans & Billing

The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are in USD. All payments are processed by our authorized third-party payment processor, who acts as the merchant of record for all transactions. You authorize the payment processor to charge your payment method on file. Plans auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase as described in our Refund Policy. Plan downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

6. Free Plan Limitations

The free plan is limited to 50 links per month and 500 tracked clicks per month. Links created on the free plan use the Short10 branded domain. Free accounts inactive for 12 months may be deleted. We reserve the right to modify free plan limitations at any time.

7. Custom Domains

Paid plans may use custom domains for short links. You must own or have authorization to use any domain you connect. You are responsible for DNS configuration. We do not guarantee uptime for custom domain redirects. Custom domains must have valid SSL certificates.

8. API Usage

API access is available on eligible plans. API keys are confidential and must not be shared. Rate limits apply (100 requests/minute for Pro, 500 for Business, 2000 for Enterprise). We reserve the right to throttle or suspend API access for abuse. API availability is provided "as-is" without guaranteed uptime SLA.

9. Data & Analytics

We collect anonymous click analytics including country, device, browser, referrer, and timestamp. IP addresses are used for country detection and discarded within 24 hours. Analytics data is retained for 90 days on free plans and 2 years on paid plans. Bot traffic is automatically filtered from analytics. We do not sell analytics data to third parties.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Short10. You retain ownership of your content (links, titles, descriptions). By using the Service, you grant us a license to process your content as necessary to provide the Service. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR: (a) loss of data or revenue; (b) service interruptions; (c) third-party actions; (d) content accessed through short links; (e) any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination: (a) your links will stop redirecting within 30 days; (b) your data will be deleted within 90 days; (c) no refund is provided for the current billing period. We may retain anonymized analytics data after termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit.
