Refund Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
1. Overview
Short10 is a product of DOTZ AGENCY LLC ("Company"). All payments are processed by Paddle, our authorized payment processor, who acts as the merchant of record for every transaction. This Refund Policy sets out the terms under which you may request a refund for a paid subscription or a one-time purchase.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Paid subscriptions (Pro and Enterprise) come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason within 14 days of your initial purchase, you may request a full refund — no questions asked.
3. How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request" and include: (a) your account email address, (b) the date of purchase, and (c) the reason (optional). We aim to respond within 24 hours on business days and to process approved refunds within 5-7 business days.
4. Refund Eligibility
Eligible for refund:
• First-time purchase within 14 days
• Service was unavailable for an extended period (24+ hours)
• You were charged incorrectly or double-charged
• Features advertised were not available or functional
Not eligible for refund:
• Requests made more than 14 days after the purchase date
• Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
• Cancelling mid-cycle (you keep access to the end of the period you paid for; we do not refund the unused days)
• Change of mind after the 14-day window
• Renewal charges (cancel before the renewal date shown on your Billing page)
5. Lifetime Deals
If you bought Short10 through a third-party lifetime deal platform such as AppSumo, refund requests must go through that platform under its own policy. DOTZ AGENCY LLC cannot refund third-party marketplace purchases. Lifetime plans are never cancelled or renewed by us.
6. Subscription Cancellations
You can cancel at any time from Dashboard → Billing ("Cancel subscription"). When you cancel: (a) your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, and the Billing page shows that date; (b) you are not charged again; (c) while that period is still running you can undo the cancellation with "Resume subscription" on the same page; (d) at the end of the period your account moves to the Free plan. Your short links keep redirecting. Downgrading to Free does not delete your links, your QR codes or your click history — Free plan limits apply to new links and premium features are locked until you upgrade again. Deleting your data is a separate, explicit action you take yourself under Dashboard → Settings → Privacy.
7. Plan Changes and Downgrades
Plan changes take effect immediately, in both directions, from Dashboard → Billing (or the pricing page, which links to the same flow). Paddle prorates the difference on your existing subscription: upgrading bills the prorated difference now, and downgrading credits the unused portion of the higher plan against your next invoice. No separate refund is issued for a downgrade, and features exclusive to the higher plan stop being available as soon as the change goes through.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Chargebacks incur additional fees and may lead to permanent suspension of your account. We are happy to resolve billing issues directly.
9. Refund Method
Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method. Card refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days depending on your bank. If you paid another way, we will work with you to find an appropriate refund route.
10. Changes to This Policy
DOTZ AGENCY LLC may modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
11. Contact
For refund requests or billing questions, contact DOTZ AGENCY LLC at [email protected], or use the contact form. We aim to respond within 24 hours on business days.
